The binary (base-2) numeral system is the base system used by almost all modern computer electronics. Any number can be represented as a sequence of bits (binary digits). Four bits can represent numbers up to fifteen, so we use them to represent 12 hours; six bits can represent numbers up to sixty-three, so we use them to represent the 60 minutes in an hour. The attractive button-activated LED display is set in a stylish mid-sized stainless-steel case and available with either red or white numerals.
